Job details
The Harry Gwala Regional Hospital is looking for an Operational Manager Nursing (Primary Health Care) for the Mafakathini Clinic. This is a senior position.
Requirements:
- A Senior Certificate or Grade 12
- A Degree or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a General Nurse and Midwife
- A Post Basic Qualification in Primary Health Care registered with SANC
- At least nine years of nursing experience after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC, with five years of experience after obtaining a one-year Post Basic Qualification in Primary Health Care
- Computer literacy with MS Office
- A Code B Driver’s license
- Financial Management skills
- Leadership, Organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Public Service policies and Health Related prescripts
- Knowledge of Code of conduct and Professionalism and Ethics in the workplace
- Good interpersonal skills
- Human Resources Management and Labour Relations Act knowledge.
